the ut-tailgaters.com tailgating tradition began on August 31st, 2003 with one cooler, one “old smokey” bbq grill, a couple of chairs, and the shade of a big oak tree in the lot 80 longhorn foundation parking lot.
the tailgate parties quickly grew, the website was set up, and it’s been bigger and better ever since.
these tailgates would not be great if it weren’t for all the great people we have met along the way. a giant “thank you” to everyone who has ever stopped by, and a special thanks to all the people who have helped contribute to this undertaking in a variety of different ways.
