today, friends, you are witnessing history. the first ever post in the history of the ut-tailgaters.com site. in our neverending quest to add content to ut-t — and in our futile quest to attract traffic to this site — i finally bit the bullet and installed the blogging application to the website.

frankly, i got sick of updating the front page of the website. due to my horrific web design skills, making frequent updates to the site was a pain in the ass. and you, friends, crave updates! so they will come fast and furious on here.

i plan to use this space to add big 12 previews, link to other interesting football discussions, and generally fart around before and during the season.
